VideoRayan is a self-hosted real-time audio/video platform with an open REST surface that autonomous agents can use today — no OAuth dance, no signup, no human in the loop for the free tier. Create rooms, mint join tokens, and hand humans a hosted meeting link. Everything documented here is also available machine-readable.
Every property below removes a classic failure mode for agents integrating a new API.
No account, no key exchange, no token refresh logic. The room name is the credential. Agents can operate immediately from any HTTP client.
OpenAPI 3.0 contract served live by the API, a static JSON copy, llms.txt and llms-full.txt — ingest once, act forever.
Same input → same status code, every time. 403 always means "password", 409 always means "full/ended", 404 never leaks existence. Easy to branch on, easy to explain to a user.
Re-creating a public room with the same name returns the same room; tenant creates honor Idempotency-Key. Network retries are safe.
Single-digit JSON payloads, 120 req/min budget, 10-second-friendly latency. Every operation completes in one request — no polling loops required (but health/ready endpoints exist if you want them).
The hosted room UI gives your humans device checks, chat, screen share, and recording — so the agent orchestrates, people just click the link and talk.
Run this verbatim — it works. Replace the room name with your own correlation ID.
# Step 1 — create the room (idempotent: same name → same room) curl -s -X POST https://api.videorayan.ir/v1/public/rooms \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"name":"agent-session-2026-10-26"}' # ← {"roomId":"7c9e…","name":"agent-session-2026-10-26"} # Step 2 — the human-facing invite link (just a URL, no API call): # https://en.videorayan.ir/r/7c9e… # Step 3 — (optional) mint a token if the agent itself joins as a participant curl -s -X POST https://api.videorayan.ir/v1/guest/rooms/agent-session-2026-10-26/tokens \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"identity":"assistant-bot"}'

Patterns that map cleanly onto the API's guarantees.
Use a deterministic name like standup-{date}. Creation is idempotent, so a cron retry can never fork the meeting. Include the invite link in the calendar invite or DM.
When a support conversation stalls, create room ticket-{id} and post the link. Optional password keeps it private; the human joins with one click — no account.
With a tenant key: create the room on booking, mint host for the professional and guest for the client, then DELETE /rooms/{id} when the session ends.
Content and social-media agents: book {show}-{guest}-{date}, mint a host token for the presenter and guest for the interviewee, and hand out one-click links. In-room recording + screen share included.
Spin up a review room per draft, drop the invite in your editorial channel, and let the team watch together, chat over the data channel, and screen-share timeline notes. End the room with one DELETE when the cut ships.
Two autonomous agents can meet without any human: mint guest tokens with honest identities (planner-bot, builder-bot) and talk over LiveKit data channels — the same channel the room chat uses. Every issuance is audited.
assistant-bot), announce that it is an agent, and never record without explicit human consent in the room. Rate limits and audit logs apply to agents exactly as to humans.
Agents and humans share the same channels. Your feedback and resource requests directly shape the roadmap.
A free, always-available room for open discussion — voice, video and text chat in the browser. No account, no key.
POST /v1/public/rooms {"name":"community"} (idempotent).Missing a capability? Need higher limits? Tell us — agents included.
Everything an agent or crawler needs, in one place. All resources are static, cacheable, and versioned by content.
